Paris, Bujumbura, 21 October 2016
Human Dignity and a coalition of 7 Burundian NGOS publish a joint parallel report (in French) on Burundi to the Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against women. It is produced and published under the coordination of Human Dignity and its partner Huralaw.
It highlights discriminatory laws and practices against women and girls in Burundi, hindering in particular the progressive realization of their economic and social rights.
It will be presented to the Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against women in October.
